Effective October 2013
The Criteria for stud dog and or litter advertising is as follows:
CBRCC membership must be in good standing and payment for the ads in full. The club strongly recommends that health status from recognized canine health agencies be included in all ads. This would include OFA, Optigen evaluations or the equivalent, for such health factors as hips, elbows, hereditary eye disease, Degenerative Myelopathy and Exercised Induced Collapse. Absence of the status for any of these health factors should give reason for prospective buyers to obtain additional information from the breeder. The publishing of puppy ads does not imply endorsement by CBRCC. The CBRCC reserves the right to refuse to advertise a litter that will knowingly produce an "at risk" pup for congenital defects such as PRA, DM and EIC.
Puppy and Older Dog ads: $15.00 for 4 months
Stud ads: $15.00 for 1 year
Please allow 1 week for ads to be posted after receipt of wording and payment.

Rooster, is an accomplished field trial, hunt test and hunting dog owned by Philip Williams of Dockcove Retrievers in Nova Scotia. He is a handsome, friendly and very manageable dog. Phillip hunts waterfowl with Rooster in the ocean near his home well into winter. Rooster passed the Canadian Master National Hunt test in 2018. We met Philip and Rooster at the Sunpoke hunt test in 2017 and had a chance to watch Rooster run. We were quite taken by his strong field abilities and striking good looks as well as his excellent health clearances.

Sassy is a wonderful dog both at home and in the field. She is a real character, devoted and fun-loving. At home, she likes nothing better than to lie close and have her belly scratched. Versatile and high drive in the field, Sassy is a quick learner. Her superb marking ability is a real asset for both retrieving waterfowl and hunt tests, while her excellent nose make her equally adept at finding and flushing upland birds.
Health clearances and pedigrees for Rooster and Sassy are available on request.
